No Rest Analysis

This is the video for Dry the River by No Rest. As a class we all listened to the song and then came up with our individual ideas on how we thought the music video would look like. The suggestions were...

1. A wedding where you see photos of both the man and woman as single individuals. Then there is a reverse time line of their life's. When the music builds up towards the end the man finds out his wife has cheated and they divorce.
2. An old peasent in ancient Rome searching for gold, roman soldiers chase him in his quest to find love.
3. Singer walking away from camera along a road in Spain, then cuts to the beach where he has flashbacks of his relationship.
4. Urban area, male walking along the pavement, he sees happy couples around him and then has flashbacks.
5. Mans body falling apart, until he ends up like ash.
6. Man walking through a maze with thorns, then it cuts to a live band in a performance showing the journey.
7. Man in an empty house looking at old photos, then house starts to tremor and shake, then you get the pictures falling down and smashing.
