Risk Assessment

This is our risk assessment that we had to carry out, highlighting any issues or risks that could occur and pop up when filming. Its important that this is checked by Miss Brookes and approved, so she can vouch that we have filled out an assessment before going out and filming.

DigiPak PhotoShoot

Here are a few more shots from the other day when we took ideas from the Digipak research and draft that James drew up and tried to emulate these shots.

These photos as I have stated were taken for digipak use. However the bottom picture you see, we have used as the background image for the website of James Couleur.

 

Whilst taking these shots we also experimented and just tried out different images. Not all of them worked however one did and this was quite a unique shot.

Here are a few images of the merchandise that fans of James Couleur are able to view and buy if they wanted too. James created the merchandise as we came to a decision in the group that he is the most skilled on photoshop.

Cup Merchandise

The first cup you see is the first design and then the last cup you see is the final complete cup that now is on sale on the website.

 

Hat Merchandise

These are the Hats that are for sale on James Couleurs official Website. The reason we have created hats is because now you see hats and especially in the style of SnapBacks becoming and are very popular around the UK and worldwide for that matter, therefore we are hoping for this to be one of our main sellers out of all our merchandise..
Shirt Merchandise

Here are a couple of shirts that are on sale on the website, as you can see getting the colour theme in anywhere we can!

 

Duffle Bag 

Duffle Bags are very popular just like the hats so this also we are hoping to have these bags as a big seller!

DigiPack Album Cover Initial Planning



DigiPack Initial Designs 

Here you can see the initial ideas. The front page is based on the idea of having a birds-eye view shot of open paint pots, and then the inside cover has the paint dripping down from the top. The back cover is just simply four shots of James Couleur looking to the left and right, one straight to the camera and then one of the back of his head. With the CD yet again it is based on a coloured paint image with splodges of paint on the CD. Finally the under disk is images of James Courleur's Guitars as its his most used instrument.

James Couleur Practise Shot 1

This is a practise shot that we performed to check that the camera angles we are planning to use in our final shot worked. We also wanted to check if the camera shots were going to be smooth and steady rather than all jumpy.

Group reflection

In out group refection we filled out forms of out strength and weaknesses to the group.

From this I found out that my two greatest strengths were...

1) my time management 

2) general team skills

My two weaknesses are

1) my group participation as because I'm re-sitting year 12 I'm not able to get in to lessons on Monday and Friday

2) my technical skills 

As a group I have learnt and found out that there is more dedication to get things on time for deadlines as you are not only letting down yourself you are letting down your team.
